For Pack Trips:

The price includes food, cooks, horses, guides, wranglers.
Cost is specified in Canadian funds (cost is less in US funds, but exchange rate varies daily.)
Rates are subject to change.
Gratuities are customary and appreciated.
All prices are subject to 7% GST (tax).
No refunds while a trip is in progress.
Weight restriction for each rider of no more than 200 pounds.
Payment to be made in the following way:

For 3 day trips or longer: $100.00 nonrefundable booking deposit per person with the remaining balance due in full on departure day.
For 2 day trips : $50.00 nonrefundable booking deposit per person, with the remaining balance due in full on departure day.


Cancellation, written notice must be received 30 days prior to departure. No refunds will be made, however, the applicant has two choices:

The applicant may find a suitable replacement.
The deposit or payment can be transferred to a trip at a future date, within the present season, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited.

Guest must supply ground sheet, sleeping bags, rain gear, riding boots, warm clothing, and personal items. Baggage limited to one duffel, including sleeping bag, 40 pounds total maximum.

Saddle Peak Trail Rides, LTD. and its employees do not accept any responsibility for injury, loss, or damages suffered to any persons or property, resulting directly or indirectly from activities on any trips, trail rides or grounds. Each rider is required to sign a waiver releasing Saddle Peak Trail Rides Ltd. from all risks.

We recommend that you purchase travel, health, and cancellation insurance.

Please Note:
We welcome individual bookings to make up a trip, however, we require a minimum of 4 participants per trip for 3 days or longer. Our company is not responsible for delays, poor weather, or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to alter the daily itinerary or cancel any trip due to lack of participants or adverse weather conditions.

For Barbecues:
In order to confirm a date for groups of 25 or less, a $100.00 nonrefundable booking deposit is required in advance.

For groups larger than 25, a $250.00 nonrefundable booking deposit is required. Please note that you pay for the number of people you book, unless the number increases. Booking deposits should be made at least two weeks in advance. The Sun Dance Hall is available for rental for dances or group get-togethers. The cost is negotiable, depending on size of group.
