Pack Trips and trail rides originate at the Richards Family Ranch located
in the Ghost River District North West of Cochrane, Alberta, halfway
between Calgary and Banff.
Established in 1978, Saddle Peak Trail
Rides is an experienced Outfitting Company. We ride the
Eastern Slopes of Banff National Park, and into the Don
Getty Provincial Park.

Check in time is 10:00AM, get settled in your cabin, then wander
down to the corrals to meet your 4 legged companion. After
a brief orientation, we mount up and do a day ride crossing
Ghost River, and following the side hills trail along Lesseuer
Creek. This ride is a good 6 to 7 hours, offering a panorama
view of the mountains and Ghost Valley. Lunch is picnic
style on the trail. To wind up the day, a Barbeque steak
dinner is served in the Sundance Hall or the main ranch house.
2 day Ghost River Ride $375.00 per person.
Next
morning, after a hearty ranch breakfast, we meet at the corrals
at 10:00AM. Today we do a gentle 4 hour ridge ride up
Pringle Mountain, offering a view from Devil's head to Kangienas
Lake. You will arrive back at the ranch mid afternoon
for lunch, and still have plenty of time to be in town for
dinner.

of 2 guests. Friday or Saturday departures. Available
June through September. Cnd $395.00/person.
